Diane Eilber

        Diane Eilber is a long-standing member of the Chapel Hill dance scene; she has taught, performed and choreographed in this area since 1975. She and Carol Richard founded and co-directed Carolina Dancers, which was a vehicle for Diane's choreography for many years. Her work has also been performed by the Rainbow Company in Raleigh, the Chapel Hill Ballet Company and at Duke University. She presently works with the Chapel Hill Dance Theater. Diane is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy and holds a Master's Degree in Dance from the University of Michigan. She was a 1987 recipient of the North Carolina Choreographer's Fellowship at the American Dance Festival. From 1975 to 1984 she taught at UNC-Chapel Hill and she now teaches ballet and modern dance for both children and adults at The Ballet School.
