Killian E. Manning

Killian happily returns to the Triangle, where she is on the faculty at UNC-Greensboro in Communication Studies.  When here the first time, Killian taught dance at the Ballet School of Chapel Hill and UNC-Chapel Hill from 1989 to 1995, and received funding for her company, No Forwarding Address, from numerous state and local arts agencies. Prior to that, she performed and choreographed in Boston from 1980-1987, where she was a member of Susan Rose and DanceWorks, serving on the faculties at Radcliffe, DanceWorks and the Boston Conservatory. She has presented her award-winning choreography in Salt Lake City, Boston, Chicago, and North Carolina, and was named "Best in The Triangle" in dance for four years.  She left the Triangle to pursue her Ph.D. in Performance Studies from the University of Utah, which she has thankfully completed.
